Ideation Discovery Council (ELROND-style)

Advisor-only overnight idea generation that fans out eight specialist brainstorming lenses so diversity is framework-driven rather than eight paraphrases of the same RSI idea.

Seats​

Momentum, volatility, regime, flow, seasonality, chartist, quantitative, cross-market — defined in alphaswarm_agents.ideation.council.

API​

GET /agents/ideation/council and POST /agents/ideation/council/run appear in the committed data/openapi.json, but as of this writing alphaswarm/api/routes/ideation.py has no @router decorator for either path — the wired ideation routes today are /agents/ideate, /agents/ideation/roster, /agents/ideation/sessions, and the per-session sub-routes. The data/openapi.json copy looks stale relative to the current route source (see the same caveat in edge-library-metering.md).

Merge​

Seat candidates are annotated with council_seat, then cosine-deduped via alphaswarm.lab.ideation_council.merge_seat_results (bag-of-words default).

  • Still advisor-only; Hypothesis Testing dispatches real backtests.
  • OOS locks / Bonferroni K / Edge Library from Phase 2 still apply.
